crazy bag

Well my fist knicker bag for my SIL was too small!!! so I have now made her a larger one, did not realise she wore Granny knickers, when I sent the first I did say if it was the wrong size my brother Richard should buy her some sexy underwear but that did not happen. This bag is still very plain but I promise I will progress.

Today two packages arrived, a new book, The magic of crazy quilting by J Marsha Michler which I have had a quick peek at and it looks amazing, the second package came very quickly, only ordered yesterday some tatting needles and a book, Learn needle  tatting by Barbara Foster.
This afternoon I am going to settle in front of the TV and watch the ladies final at Wimbledon and also read the tatting book, maybe even make a little something.

What a hoot Margaret.........I have to confess I didn't think anyone wore granny knickers anymore..........LOL......

Hope you enjoyed the needle tatting as well as the tennis. I guess you didn't really enjoy the outcome of the mens' final.......

We are very happy with the Grand Prix winner this time around......Aussie Mark Webber had a win...... Take care.

Oops - forgot to add that I hope your needle tatting goes well. I'm slowly, very slowly getting the hang of shuttle tatting.

Now I found the way to your blog - I have not the least idea what is a knicker bag - I know knicker bockers from 80 years ago - I was still not on this lovely earth then

This bag looks good! I've also caught this CQ bug recently, hopefully we'll catch up with each other about our experiments...needle tatting is quite easy compared to the shuttle one.Have fun with your tatting Margaret .

Your SIL will have an assortment of bags for all sorts of things; all are stitches with love and must be treasured.
Tatting and CQ go well together so I am sure you will enjoy the books, both to leaf through and to use.
Enjoy the tennis!

Hi Margaret ,....
your works are beautiful, inspiration, and everything is carried out, is simply beautiful.
I'm sorry, but it was a holiday and I was not at home, and I already longed for his native country where he was born,
I cordially greet, warm, wish you great ideas to the work of art.,
Wanda
