Christmas

It has been a while since I last posted a blog, have been following everyone else`s but not been motivated myself so will try and put a picasa photo on of the things I have stitched over the years and the little nativity scenes I have.   Sorry could not understand the instructions so will just post a few of my photos.

well these are just a few of the things done in the last 20 years.
I have also made a bag for daughter Catherine, see wants a black, grey, white small shopper in crazy style.
think she will like it if not I will keep it myself!!

A little pillow for Helen who loves angels and suffers from chrons which can make her quite poorly at times.

I have both daughters and granddaughter here for Christmas, Helen who is a nurse has an early shift Xmas Eve and hurrah the day off on Christmas day and is back on a late boxing day, will also have their 2 cats Sophie and Alfie, they are mother and son but the few times when they have been here together they have not got on too well, will see what happens this time.

I wish all bloggers a happy and peaceful Christmas.

So sad the tragedy in Connicticut, my prayers are with those who have lost loved ones and also for the poor little children who witnessed the appalling events, I pray they will come to terms with what they saw and heard.

Thank you for sharing your works of art with us. The angel is beautiful! As I was scrolling through the photos, I kept thinking, "Oh, that is pretty, it is my favorite....then another would be my favorite. I had to laugh about the purse...good to make something you would like for yourself.
Lots of heavy hearts about those sweet little ones and the teachers that tried to protect them. Such sadness and so many lives that are touched by those sweet angels.

I love that Christmas tree, and the illuminated letter in the quote is very beautiful too! It's a nice feeling to have accumulated a "body of work," isn't it?

You have made a lot of pretty pieces. On the close up of the first photo I saw all pretty little charms.
I'm sure your daughter will like the bag. You did a great job.

Margaret, how nice to see your collection of beautiful work. You are good at so many things, the charming Christmas tree with all its charms and the unusual frame, the Hardanger angel as well as the cuddly pillow for Helen give comfort and someone will be very happy to go shopping with that lovely cq bag. Is the church embroidery cross stitch?
All the best for a good Christmas holiday.

Lovely stitching pieces you have created. Love the little tote bag.
My heart is heavy and my tears aren't stopping. Healing prayers just don't seem to be enough for all affected.

I too wish you and your girls a happy and safe Christmas, Margaret. It has been my pleasure to 'meet' you, and become your friend. I share your sadness regarding the US tragedy. One wonders how much more we can all take!!!

Margaret I got behind on my reading while trying to finish up 2012 projects and keep my blog current. I almost missed this!!! Your post is full of eye candy. That tree is gorgeous! All of your stitching is so pretty and I bet your daughters loved their very thoughtful and personal gifts. See you (and more of your stitching) in 2013!
