I then got all the other blocks out and put them in order on the table and here is what they look like
this is the first time I have looked at them all together and on the whole I am feeling rather pleased with myself!! Now the big question what shall I do with them. Maybe a wall hanging, if I do that do that should I have sashing? or maybe make into a book, not sure how to go about that though. I suppose I would back each page maybe with a plain cotton fabric or maybe have it as a 6 page book and back each page with another crazy one. I will take them with me to the K & S and buy some backing fabric, was thinking of staying with a shade of green possibly dark or maybe I should look for a contrast, tan? any advice will be greatly received.
I have signed on to do this challenge next year too, Helen says she might like a pink and grey theme but have not decided yet.

Wow! the blocks look fantastic all laid out. I like the idea of a book and it would be a nice project finding out how it all goes together. You are right to be pleased you have done a lovely job!
BRAVO!!!!
The blocks look absolutely lovely together, and if I were you, I'd make a wall hanging (without sashing, but with stitches over the new seams)..
As for the December block. I just love the triangular Christmas trees! How about adding something sparkly if you want to brightening up the block. Tinsel, star, bell...
You're doing wonderfully! Well done!x
They look lovely! I'd wonder if you would like to make a concertina book -- that can lie flat like a book or be opened up across a wall to display. And of course, I'd think about a bit of goldwork, but that won't surprise you! your colors are lovely, nice atmosphere around them.
Hello Margaret, You should be very pleased with yourself. All those blocks together look awesome.. Hugs Judy
Another pretty block, I love the chirstmas tree and the holly leaves. Either book or a wall hanging would be nice.
Your block looks great. I think you should sew them together with out sashing like the did long time ago. I am just loving this. Is there a pattern?
Hugs

Congrats on finishing your last block, it's very pretty. Love the look of your block together. I think you don't need a sashing if you piece them this way. It would make a great quilt!
Well done they look great. I like the idea of a wall hanging then it can been seen all the time. Where as a book you have to make a concious effort to get it out to look at it.
love seeing all the blocks together...beautiful color. i love green. a binding with different strips of green stitched together might be nice and unique.
They all look s so fantastic. Wonderful work.
Margaret they are lovely, yes a wall hanging would look good. I'd choose something rich, velvety, green, red? Needs to be opulent! :) x
Each block has been such a delight to see. Now seeing them as a whole is truly amazing. A wall hanging would be wonderful. If space is limited then a book would be nice. I like Boud's suggestion of a concertina book that can be displayed on a mantle or table. Backed with a bit of sparkly gold in the fabric would be lovely. Beautiful job Margaret. Creative Stitching Bliss...
How wonderful those blocks look and how pretty they are embroidered. Good job!

Der neue Block ist sehr schön, aber alle zusammen sind einfach umwerfend !! Ich bin begeistert.
LG Marianne
They look great! I would make them into a wall hanging, I think you would get more pleasure, seeing them all the time. I would not do sashing, but a nice border :-)
Yes, I had to delete it - but here I am again. Your block are looking so beautiful. About sashing or not - I don't know. I usually make sashings but your wall hanging - if it will be one - will look wonderful without - one block blending into the next. Do not take it apart for a book - You will love it as a whole.
I like this idea a lot. Antique crazy quilts don't usually have sashing.
Your crazy patch blocks are gorgeous - and will look beautiful put together. I think they will be more effective seen en masse as a hanging and of course more embroidery on top of the seam joins would be lovely.... but really it is up to you :-)
Well done, you! They look fabulous together, and I think Raewyn has the perfect suggestions
Your december block is beautiful and all the blocks are fabulous together
Your blocks looks great together.Congratulations Margaret! I think it needs only a border and not a sashing.I don't have much experience in CQ so I might not be correct and am looking forward to see the suggestions you get from other crazy quilters.
Your December block looks great Margaret!! I really like the tree with the beads on it and also the tatting. All your blocks look so nice together and I think it'd make a terrific wall hanging.
Oh yes, these are so pretty. I love all the fantastic colours you've used.
congratulations! they will make a gorgeous wall hanging. I can't wait ti get going in january. Perhaps you could do nex year in another colour and alternate the block of the two years to make a larger quilt?
Love them all together! You did a great job and finished a month early!
They do look good, Margaret. I'd vote for wall hanging with border only.
Margaret this last block looks fabulous and all the blocks together are amazing. I think a wall hanging would be good. xx
So pretty! I like the thought of a wall hanging with sashing between the blocks, that way they'd stand out more. Can't wait to see what you decide!
Oh, what a luscious collection! I love these. A crazy patch quilt is on my bucket list.
Lovely!! just beautiful! and the whole year of blocks together is a beautiful collection!!
This is stunning......your mastery of embroidery is very apparent!
I love the Christmas tree. So much work in these blocks, is this your first time crazy quilting?
