Malvern quilt show

As promised here are a couple of collages from photos I took at the Malvern quilt show earlier this month.

I have finaly got picasa downloaded onto the new lap top,  thought it would not work as it said it was for windows 7 but happy to say windows 8 accepted it and hence the collages.  Sorry about the one pictorial one  that has go inrto this section but could not work out how to delete it.

Here are a pictorial selection,  the cyclists were  due to the Tour de France starting here last year. Love the one of cats and the tribute to Torvill and Dean is very nice too,  how I loved watching them skating.

This is the winner of the whole show,

Decided to show this one on its own as I know quite a few bloggers are doing the Dear Jane quilt and hopefully it will inspire you all.

I took lots of photos, it was hard to pick a few for this blog but lets hope they are inspiring to you all.
If you click on the photo it should enlarge for a good view

So many beautiful quilts here. Thank you for showing us. I can spot a hexie quilt in the first picture I would have liked to take a closer look at. Hopefully you could put it in your next blog post.

Oh what fun. A lot of art quilts. I love the one with the 3D flowers (2nd photo: 5th in bottom row.) And that winner was certainly deserving. Wow.

Nice photos! It would be nice too see them individually, rather than in a collage. It is hard to see the details. Looks like an inspirational trip, thank you!

Hi Margie,
What a terrific show! The overall winner is a real show-stopper, but all the quilts are wonderful. It is always nice to see another Dear Jane; they are such a labor of love.

The decluttering continues in Fort Worth. I eventually want to retire and Larry already has, and we might want to sell the house and downsize. As a result, we are not planning to replace the excess stuff with too many new purchases. Of course, new fabric and craft stuff is always welcome! lol

Take care, and thanks for sharing your pictures. How are your daughters doing? I hope they are on an improving trend.
