6 quilted mini quilts

As promised I am loading up the mini quilts which I did with Michele Foster,    think I have been on a great journey quilting these.

                                               Bear necessities

                                                           back of bare necessities

                                                       back of carousel rides

                                                               penny candy

                                                                   back of penny candy

                                                                     Moroccan tiles

                                                                     back of Moroccan stars

                                                                square vortex

                                                                Twinkling stars

back of twinkling stars

all minis apart form carousel rides measure 24" square   carousel rides is 27.5" square. No photo of the back of square vortex as I used a very patterned fabric for the backing and the quilting does not show up on it, also if I had thought more about it would have done more quilting but this is the first one I attempted.  So good to have them finished at last,  now not sure what to do with them.

So well done. Congratulations. I love both your quilts and the quilting of them. Beautiful. You may put them on a wall, one after one throughout the year.

Besides the obviously excellent designs and color choices……the quilting motifs make each small piece absolutely sing!!

Your quilting looks wonderful!!! Great job on these minis. Great idea to get some practice in or to try some new quilting motifs without committing to a larger quilt.

Congratulations, lots of great finishes, Margaret! Set up a hanger for one in a corner somewhere, and switch them out regularly. Then they will always feel new!

Your quilting is really lovely Margaret, I especially like the first one but they are all great. You definitely need to have these where you can admire them every day!

Oh my word Margaret what fabulous quilting just seen your last post do not know how I missed it Did Sal like the Quilt? As for wadding not sure they say that the hobbs is easier to quilt with and sometimes warmer than a lot of the polyesters I have been using fleece as a backing and the "wadding" which is okay but it does not feel finished to me. Have a great day Pippa

Wonderful quilts, Margaret! I liked seeing the quilting on the backs. Hmmm, I wonder if some of them could be put together to make a lap quilt.

Hello Margaret,
I am absolutely overwhelmed by seeing your many miniquilts - which in my opinion are not at all "mini" - they have all a considerable size. And your quilting is moreover embellishing the interesting designs. You must be so proud - and relieved - that you finished them so successfully. Now, what to do with them... haha. Mine usually land either on a wall which I freed from an older quilt ---- or in the drawer. I hope the latter will not be the case with yours.

Isn't it a great feeling to finish off a project ? Wonderful mini quilts. I've never quilted before and have not used one, so I am at a loss to suggest some ideas on what to do with them.

I like how you have done the random quilting lines for these quilts . Hopefully I am no longer a no-reply blogger. I checked with a few others and they weren't getting me as that. Hopefully it is ok now...
