Well time has flown and not only have I the july hexie to add but the june one is also being uploaded.
the june item is a flower
july is an icecream, why not have a mixture, here we have chocolate, tangerine, strawberry and raspberry delicious or should I say naughty but nice!
I have not been happy with the binding on the 2013 crazy wallhanging for some time now so removed it and decided to do a scrappy one, partly so I could put it into a quilt show, the best plans go wrong but here is the photo
I have not got this done very well and it cannot go to the show as it is too small! never mind one day I will enter something. It is by no means straight, do not know where I went wrong but do not plan to try and put it right, it will just go in a drawer for now.
The batik wheels cushion was in the tour de france show after all, the rumour about white was incorrect.
Well that is all for now, I will do a further blog in a few days with the other bits and pieces on

Your hexie blocks are so cute. Will these be appliqued or pieced with more hexies?
The blocks are lovely, specially the ice cream- just what we need for the summer :)
This new biding on the quilt is making a very big difference actually . Just comparing with the previous one and is making a very happy looking quilt.I love it Margaret .I am sure all your internet friends would give you a good prize for this quilt , don't mind all those show rules: to big , to small ,to colorful not colorful in off .....
I love your hexie blocks! Such a delicious looking ice cream cone! I think your crazy quilt turned out wonderfully! I have yet to try one of those. Congratulations on your cushion being in the show!
Oh no, it´s too small???? What a shame. Good, that you think this way... one day...

cute hexie designs. i like the new binding. just came from the post office and mailed your package.
what fun with the ice cream hex. I make quilts for fun not competitions, to many rules. Just enjoy making.
Love the ice cream! Glad to see you back on the blog.
Your hexagons are perfect! That is much too complex for me.
That is a nice, sunny photo of your crazy quilt. It looks good to me! Love the fresh colours. :)
love the hexi blocks Margaret, the colours are lovely and bright and the designs so clever. I think your crazy quilt is gorgeous
Hi Margaret,
I like your hexie project, both look nice, and the quilt was defenitely enhenced by the new border. My quilts are not all straight, but we always do the best as we can,and that is okay. Later on it will be nice to see the progress you made in your work.

Enjoy your quilt for the beauty it has, it's too good to live it's life in a drawer
Your hexies are so fun, Margaret! And I like your crazy quilt too, what a shame about the size - hopefully you will get a chance to show it another time.
So nice hexie blocks! And I really love your crazy quilts. Have a fantastic week!
Love your little hexie creations, Margaret. The ice cream looks good enough to eat!
Your hexies are very nice and your crazy quilt is wonderful with its new binding.
Lovely hexie blocks, cute ice-cream! The scrap binding has turned out so well.Your cushion is in the show,Yay! Congratulations Margaret!
No, don't shove it in a drawer because you think it's not perfect! it's a fab quilt and you enjoyed making it. It's handmade, not machine made so it will have imperfections. why not hang it somewhere you can see it?
Your hexagon flower and ice cream look really neat Margaret and I hope you don't put your quilt in a drawer even if it's not perfect. The new binding turned out really well I think.
It seems to be endless what can be done with hexagons. Love your flower and ice cream, Margaret. Your crazy quilt looks great, well done.
So sorry your crazy hanging is too small. I like it a lot. That hexie flower is great!
I love the crazy quilt, and yes, I think you were right about the edging.

Cute hexies! I like the new border you added and it is a shame it too small for the show. It would make a lovely wall hanging....too pretty to be in drawer!!!

Love your new hexies! The new binding on your crazy wallhanging is very pretty, it adds to the quilt.
I do like the double dip cone after all! Don't stick that in a drawer. Hang it proudly on the wall. It's too beautiful to be stuck in a drawer. Hang it, enjoy it, and don't apologize for anything. =)
Love the hexis, great fun! And the scrappy is really fab . Glad the cushion was allowed to " tour"!
What a shame about your quilt, the border does work better.I am so pleased about your cushion, I am sure that it will do well it is lovely!
I love your hexies and the crazy quilt are soooo beautiful!!

Beautiful hexie blocks . Love the ice-cream cone . "It`s so cool" and perfect for scorching summer :))
Hi Margie,
I love the scrappy binding you have made; I think it adds another dimension to an already interesting quilt.
I have been away from blogland for a few months and have really enjoyed catching up on your blog. The quilts from the show are amazing. I also
love your cushion. I wouldn't change a thing about it, even if it doesn't follow the "rules". :)
Take care,
